A little about me...

 

I was born and raised in South Los Angeles. I was the first in my family to go to college. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies and my teaching credential from Cal State LA.  

 

I've had the privilege to be a part of the JAMS community since 2004.  I've worked as a Resource Teacher for the past 9 years. I've also been a part of  Student's Run LA since 2013. 

 

Working at JAMS continues to be an incredibly rewarding experience. Every day brings new opportunities to support my students as they navigate an important phase of their development. I continue to be inspired by my colleagues, my students, and their families.
