Dr. Wendy Correa

Welcome John Adams Middle School

Patriots!

My name is Dr. Correa and I am one of the Assistant Principals at JAMS. I work closely with all teachers, the Counseling Department and Special Education.

I look forward to meeting all of our new incoming 6th grade students and welcoming back our returning 7th and 8th grade students. I hope to welcome you each personally as I visit your classrooms.

Please know that your teachers, counselors, support staff and administrators are excited to welcome you all back to school! We are also working very hard to ensure you have the necessary tools for a successful year. We all understand that returning to school will take some adjustment for everyone, should you need help or need someone to talk with do not hesitate to speak with any administrator or counselor.

A little about Dr. Correa

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My parents immigrated to the U.S. from Ecuador and their only dream was to have their children be successful and live a better life. Similar to all of your parents.

I grew up in the JAMS community. I attended 32nd Street Magnet Kinder-12th grade. I am a 3X USC Trojan. I earned my Bachelors, 2 Masters and Doctorate from the University of Southern California. I love learning!

I am a firm believer that being successful in school and in life = 95% hard work and 5% intelligence.

My "Why" is simple, I work with parents, students and teachers to give back the help and support that was once given to me. I am no different than any of our JAMS students.  Student's inspire me daily and I hope to have the opportunity to inspire you too!

FIGHT ON!
